New Menu for Chester Restaurant Joseph Benjamin

It is no secret that the chefs at Joseph Benjamin have always prided themselves on mouth watering menus, fantastic locally sourced food, and immaculate presentation.

Their January menu is now available and already proves that this year will be no exception. Please be warned... reading it will have your stomach rumbling!

First are the light appetisers. Mixed olives, warm locally baked bread or Parma Ham are just a few of the options to get your pallet in the mood.

Following swiftly are the selection of wonderful starters. The Soup of the day (v) or the confit pheasant, celeriac and chestnut salad are the ideal way to warm up for the main courses. For those not already sold, there is also the hot-smoked Scottish Salmon, or the warm salad of curried cauliflower finished with chick peas, pickled carrots, raisin puree and mint yoghurt.

For mains you can enjoy choosing from the free-range Cheshire pork faggots, the Wild mushroom and borlotti bean fricassee with roast sweet potato (v) and more. You can also complete your main with one of four sides; Home made chips, mixed salad, vegetables of the day or new potatoes.

And why not top off your meal with one of the wonderful deserts Joseph Benjamin now have on offer. With such an irresistible selection its almost impossible to resist. The warm chocolate brownie with chocolate sauce and vanilla ice cream is an unmissable option for any chocoholic, but those of you looking for something different can enjoy the choice of sticky toffee pudding with toffee sauce, plum crumble with vanilla custard and more.

On 12th February 2011, you and your partner can enjoy a set gourmet dinner ideal to get you in the mood for a romantic week together. The food is locally sourced, exceptionally presented and cooked to perfection.

For your convenience there is the option of two sitting; the Early sitting priced at £35 per person and the Late sitting priced at £45 per person.

If you are seduced by the early sitting, you can enjoy the succulent Monkfish and lemon salad to start; a light dish complete with slow roast tomatoes, tomato essence and avruga caviar. Local Law Firm Extends Private Client Department

Macclesfield based Thorneycroft Solicitors, who have earned a reputation for offering friendly and professional service to their clients since being founded in 1990 by Senior Partner Robert Thorneycroft, have opened a new Private Client department at their Bridge Street Mills offices.

The Private Client team is headed up by one of the North West’s leading general practice Solicitors Rachael Kirk.

Rachael has moved to Thorneycroft Solicitors from a Poynton based firm of Solicitors and she is joined in the Private Client department by two local girls, both fully qualified Solicitors, who bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Private Client team.

Clare Senior has been with Thorneycroft Solicitors for almost a decade and specialises in a number of areas including Conveyancing, Consumer problems and Personal Injury.

She is also currently studying for Higher Rights of Audience in order to become an Advocate as well as a Solicitor.

Specialising in Wills, Probate, Family Law and Personal Injury is Kirsten Ward who joined Thorneycroft Solicitors in 2006, having obtained her law degree at Manchester University.

Working alongside Rachael Kirk, Kirsten and Clare will provide Thorneycroft clients with a range of services including:-
